Cameron MacPherson is excited to be a member of the World Embrace team where he will use his education and life experiences to further their mission in Gulu. Cam attended school at Durham College where he earned his Recreation and Leisure Services diploma.

With an athletic background in numerous sports including soccer, swimming, and football, Cam recognizes the importance of sports for youth development. Given the lack of sports facilities in Gulu, Cam is looking forward to using his skills and knowledge to make a positive influence in the lives of the children in this community.

Beyond sports Cam also has a passion for music and arts. He is self-taught on multiple instruments and uses his love of photography as a tool to tell stories.

​

From his early teens, he has volunteered his time in service to others in places like Cochrane, Ontario, Canada, to Belize and the Dominican Republic.
