Our mission is to create spaces where people can experience unity through community, love, and the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ.
The vision of World Embrace is to see unity in the church fulfilled across all denominations and organizations, leading to improved community development and a stronger social fabric in Uganda.
UNITY THROUGH COMMUNITY
We are building Gulu Community Park, a 22-acre facility that will serve as a space/catalyst to bring the regional body of Christ together to love and serve Gulu.
Playgrounds, sports fields, a library, a restaurant, and many other attractions will bring thousands to spend time at the park. Staff and volunteers from local churches in Gulu will work alongside one another to share the Gospel through programming and daily interaction with guests at the park.
Through consistent involvement in the lives of our guests, our team will have the opportunity to lead people to Jesus and connect them with a local church family to begin the journey of becoming a disciple of Jesus. World Embrace will never start a church but seeks to support local churches in growing their impact and effectiveness.
