THE COMMUNITY HUB

The major goal of building Gulu City Park is to build a space that becomes the community HUB of Gulu. When people begin to spend their time in an environment that is filled with the love of Jesus Christ, we believe that it is only a matter of time until they are positively impacted.

It will create a space where the churches of the region can come together to love their community by running sports leagues, open-air concerts, training seminars, medical/dental outreaches, etc.

We will never start a church at Gulu City Park. We aim to support existing local churches and help them grow!

 GULU CITY PARK

LATEST NEWS - THE VISION HAS NOT CHANGED BUT THE LOCATION HAS

We have purchased over 20 acres of land on the outer edge of Gulu! This gives us the space to add 2 full-sized soccer fields and expand the children's play area from 2 acres up to 5 acres! This added capacity means we can welcome more children!

The Development Plan

PHASE 1:

The Children's Park

PHASE 2:

The Sports Park

PHASE 3:

Guest Houses and

Conference Building

PHASE 1 THE CHILDREN'S PARK

Play is a fundamental and vital dimension of the pleasure of childhood. It is an essential component of physical, social, cognitive, emotional and spiritual development.

The United Nations

Convention on the Rights of the Child

Article 31

Even though Gulu is the second most populated area in Uganda, there is no safe public playground that kids can play for free. We want to change that!

The Children's Park will be an amazing space for parents to spend time with their children. We believe in the power of play!
